Map of Western Australia

Western Australia covers more than 2.5 million square kilometres of land (roughly the same size as Europe). It's a huge, barren state and most of it is completely deserted, apart from a string of towns along the coastal highways and a few scattered inland mining centres such as Kalgoorlie and Laverton. Keep in mind the capital of Perth is a beautiful city and there are plenty of tours through this massive outback where you can experience the "real" Australia.
